The Waterbury Land Bank Authority (“WLB”) is striving to promote and enable owner occupied residences within our target neighborhoods. In keeping with this, priority is given to individuals who will occupy the property for a minimum of five (5) years. With multi-family properties, priority is given to those who will occupy at least one unit of the residence for a minimum of five (5) years.
If you are interested in purchasing a property from the WLB, please view properties. To complete an application to bid on a specific property, simply click the “apply” indicator which is located on the bottom line of each property being offered for sale. You will be required to create a User Account to complete a bid application. The WLB will review and rank all bids. Priority is given to those who intend on purchasing a property for their own residence.
Completing an application does not constitute a binding offer to purchase, nor does it constitute an agreement with the WLB. The opportunity to “apply” simply alerts the WLB to the fact that you are interested in acquiring a specific property. Your application will be reviewed, and you will be contacted with further instructions when the property sales process begins.
